Psalms 139:17-18
How precious are Your thoughts about me, O God! They are innumerable! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand!

Google performs several hundred million searches each day while hundreds of millions of videos  are being viewed on Youtube at any given moment and yet God’s thoughts toward you outnumber them both. Pretty fascinating isn’t it? Makes one wonder what is He thinking? The good news is His thoughts are precious (valuable, darling, worth a King’s ransom).

Unfortunately we’ve had thousands of thoughts about ourselves that don’t line up with what God is thinking about us each day. It makes me wish I  could take God’s thoughts and project them onto a huge movie screen. You might be shocked by His love. Amazed by His dreams for you, His unwavering confidence in your potential, what he has invested in your gifts and abilities, His overwhelming willingness to help you, and desire to know you, laugh with you, talk to you, teach you….you get my drift.

Unfortunately negative thoughts originate from the negative words we’ve heard over time. Perhaps it came from a father who didn’t have the privilege of knowing God’s thoughts toward him or old classmates who abused you with words to mask their own scars. The next time you have a negative thought about yourself KNOW that it didn’t come from God. And the next time someone speaks something negative to you—about you, get quiet and listen for His voice singing over your relationships, talents, children, fiances, and smile.

Precious are His thoughts toward you so Kiss the Son today and ask Him “Lord, what new & unique thought are you thinking toward me today?!”
